Is TDG company specific?
Are training certificates transferable from one company to another? No. Training certificates are NOT transferable because they are issued by the employee’s current employer. If an individual works for more than one company at the same time, the person would need more than one training certificate.
Are TDG Regulations different in every province?
Whether or not the TDG Regulations are provincial or federal, they are enforced by the province as the TDG Directorate (who is responsible for the federal TDG Regulations) has a Memorandum of Understanding with each province and territory.
Is TDG certificate transferable?
Training certificates are NOT transferable. When an employee has received training, the employer must issue a certificate. An individual who works for more than one employer at a time will receive more than one certificate.
