Does any PINsentry work?
Yes, you should be able to use someone else’s card reader. Most other banks’ readers will work but you can only use your own card and PIN. For your own security, you should only use a card reader from a trusted source and make sure that the label on the back is intact.
How does the PINsentry work?
When you insert your Barclaycard into the reader, and tap in your four-digit PIN, the device will generate a unique eight-digit code. You can enter this to confirm it’s you, when making payments. You’ll get a new code each time you use the PINsentry card reader.
