Do NOT stretch with silicone, acrylic, wood, bone, or horn. Silicone and acrylic can’t be autoclaved, so even after washing with antimicrobial soap, there may still be trace amounts of bacteria. This is fine for a healed piercing, but not okay to stretch with or be worn in a freshly stretched ear.
