Does Eurail cover local trains?

Eurail passes allow you to travel on all the normal scheduled trains run by the participating national train operators, including high-speed, inter-city, overnight sleeper, regional & suburban. In many cases including most local & regional trains, you just hop on and show your pass when asked, it’s that simple.
