What is the difference between BlueChart g2 and g2 Vision?
As a general rule of thumb BlueChart g2 HD charts are designed for use with Garmin handheld devices such as the Garmin Montana 680t, while the more advanced BlueChart g2 Vision HD charts are designed for use with Garmin chartplotters such as the Garmin echoMAP 75sv.
What does Garmin BlueChart g3 cover?
This is an affordable option for compatible Garmin chartplotters. The product includes detailed navigation charts, tidal stations, currents, depth contours, IALA symbols, and detailed fishing (bathymetric) charts.
Does C map work in Garmin?

Does Garmin support navionics?
On your plotter: Garmin plotters are not compatible with Navionics cards at the moment. If you have the chance to use one of the many Navionics compatible plotters on the market, you can purchase Navionics Updates and unlock it with your Garmin card (which you will still be able to use).
Both Navionics and CMAP are pretty similar in terms of options and tools, and both have excellent high-quality bathymetric maps. These extras mean that it is a little higher than Navionics in terms of price, so it’s up to you to decide if a C MAP chart is a better option for you.
Does Navionics work with Garmin?
All you need is the free ActiveCaptain® app to easily transfer routes and markers from your Navionics Boating app to a compatible Garmin chartplotter. Install the Garmin ActiveCaptain app on your mobile device.
