Does Mill Mountain Zoo still have the train?
We have decided that the Zoo Choo will have one public train at 2pm Mondays-Thursdays. On Fridays-Sundays, the Zoo Choo will be running on its normal schedule, weather permitting.
Are dogs allowed at Mill Mountain Park?
People and their leashed-pups are welcome on the park grounds, which also include picnic shelters, mountain overlooks, multi-use trails and a wildflower garden.

Mill Mountain Zoo does not have a restaurant, but you can purchase a variety of chips, crackers, candy and other snacks in the Gift Shop. Bottled beverages such as water and soda are also available, and we now have ice cream treats as well.
