You can take a boat from the northern dock of Auberdine to Rut’theran Village. From Stormwind, go to Stormwind Harbor, then take a boat (on left) to Darnassus. Find flight master and fly to Darkshore. From Theramore Isle, swim north along the coast, then go west (safer than going through Dustwallow Marsh).

Once you see the blacksmith area in the Dwarven District, take a right and it will make a semi-U shape road that leads you to the Deeprun Tram if you’re in Stormwind. If you’re Ironforge, simply go to Tinker Town, and directly in front of the Gnome King is the Deeprun Tram.

Where is the portal to Darnassus?

There is a portal west of the bank in Darnassus that takes you to the Night Elf port, Rut’theran Village. (The portal looks like a hazy pink tent under a tree.)
Can you quest Horde in Westfall?
Fun fact: Horde players are able to complete the three Captain Grayson quests. Beware, Westfall is an Alliance-controlled zone so any horde players in Westfall on PvP servers will automatically be flagged and attackable by alliance players.
