How do you fix a loose dryer vent?

How to Fix a Loose Dryer Vent Pipe

  1. Turn the dryer off and unplug it from the wall outlet.
  2. Hold the dryer vent hose against the dryer outlet and gently press the rim of the hose onto the outlet fitting.
  3. Allow a flexible vent hose to curve behind your dryer and exit out the hole in the wall.

How do you tighten a dryer vent clamp?

Move the clamp toward the end of the dryer duct until the clamp is over the dryer duct and the exhaust port sleeve. Rotate the dryer clamp as necessary until the securing screw is facing the ceiling. Tighten the screw with the Phillips-head screwdriver until the clamp is tight.
