It looks like “Peter, Tom, and I/me” is the object of the verb “are,” and normally you would use “me” in object position. When the verb is “to be” the rule is that the object is renaming the subject, and so the subject pronoun is used. With a different verb you would use “me” as in the examples below.

Why we should not use myself?

Reflexive pronouns want something to refer to reflexively. Contextually, the speaker is there, but, in English, the speaker has not put him- or herself into the sentence context without first naming him- or herself. So you would never start with myself in proper English.
