Rather than “what do I hold dear?”, a more suitable question may be “what should I hold dear?”. This new question, I feel, has to be in accordance with who I am fundamentally as a person. So, after having three hours of a post-shock trip to review my values and where I want to go, here are a few I settled on.

-My philosophy I hold dearest in life is to be humble. I believe that often we take for granted what a gift life truly is, and what we are given. I believe that no matter how bad things can be, there is someone out there who is worse off then yourself.
