What forks fit my motorcycle?
The main thing you need to look for is the steerer size. Most Mtb headtube is 1.1/8″, a few are 1.5″ or the combo of the two, tapered steerer. So as long as the fork is 1.1/8″ you are good to go.
How do you align triple clamps?
On a dirt bike with twisted tubes, simply loosen the fork clamp and axle bolts a little, put the front wheel between your legs and move the bars so they are close to the proper position, then work the forks up and down a few times, which will align the tubes pretty near perfectly, and then tighten the clamp bolts.
How tight should my triple clamps be?
Generally, something around 16-18 ft/lb for the top clamp and more like 12-15 ft/lb for the lower.
