What is Ozark National Forest known for?
The Ozark National Forest covers 1.2 million acres, mostly in the Ozark mountains of northern Arkansas. You’ll find the tallest mountain in the State, Mount Magazine, and an incredible, living underground cave–Blanchard Springs Caverns.

They provide an instant pick-me-up on the trail. Give yourself about two hour’s daylight to set up camp. Dogs are allowed on most of the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest trails, but are not allowed in some areas such as the Enchantments, Snow Lakes, Colchuck Lake, Stuart Lake, Eightmile Lake and Ingall’s Lake.
