You can’t Ash it because it sends a spell as cost for the effect, and once the effect is in motion and past the chaining phase, you can’t negate it, even if said effect copies the effect of something else that Ash could chain to if only Red Eyes Fusion were being used.

You cannot Normal or Special Summon other monsters the turn you activate this card. You can only activate 1 “Red-Eyes Fusion” per turn.
