Is the restricted reporting option available to all service members?
The Restricted Reporting option is only available to Service members and adult military dependents. Restricted Reporting may not be available in all cases, (See §§ 105.3 and 105.8 (a) (6).) If a victim elects this reporting option, a victim may convert a Restricted Report to an Unrestricted Report at any time.
Can a military protective order be expedited?
You cannot receive a military protective order. You cannot request an Expedited Transfer to allow you to move to a different unit or base. You will continue to have contact with your assailant, if he or she is in your organization or billeted with you.
